Description
This work is a meta-creation that combines literary space and virtual reality space, starting from Beckett’s “Endgame” to discuss the issues of life and death in virtual space.
In the world set by Beckett’s play End Game, four people were waiting to die in the room and had almost reached the end. The servant Clov faces the choice of whether leaving the place or not. If he breaks the final game and leaves here to seek survival, the king Hamm, who is interdependent and disgusted with Clov, will die.
You will play Clov in Beckett’s End Game, continuing this play in virtual reality space.
The focus of this work is the artist’s particular setting of the angle of the virtual reality base station, which makes the virtual reality chaperone area overlap with the literature space of Beckett’s play.
To stay with Hamm and waiting for death / to keep virtual reality run stably; or to leave Hamm to seek survival / to loss of virtual space security from Chaperone area?
“How to escape from this double ‘end game’?” is the only problem.
*The only way to play this work is to walk around with VR headset.

本作品是一件结合文学空间和虚拟现实空间的后设创作,它从贝克特的《终局》出发,讨论虚拟空间的生死问题。
在贝克特《终局》所设定的末世中,四个人在房间里濒死,已经陷入终局。仆人克洛夫面临是否离开此地的抉择。若他打破终局,离开这里去寻求生存,与他相互依赖又相互厌恶的国王汉姆将会死去。
你将扮演贝克特《终局》剧本中的克洛夫,在虚拟现实中继续这一话剧。
本作品的重点是艺术家对虚拟现实定位器的角度的特殊设置,它使得虚拟现实定位安全范围与贝克特话剧的文学空间重合。
留守在汉姆身边等死/保证虚拟现实稳定运行;还是离开汉姆寻求生存/失去虚拟空间的安全保障?
「如何逃出这双重终局?」成为唯一的问题。
*本作品的唯一操作法就是您可戴着虚拟现实眼镜游走四周。
